Thoughts is a mobile writing app built for a creative writer who needed a dedicated tool for managing both novels and screenplays. The client wanted a focused, distraction-free tool that keeps everything a writer needs; chapters, characters, scenes, and scripts, organized in one place without the bloat of existing writing software.
A personalized home screen that greets the user by name and surfaces recent projects immediately. Light and dark mode were both fully designed, giving the writer the option to work comfortably in any environment.

A chapter-based writing environment with a clean editor for long-form prose. The writer can manage chapters through a collapsible sidebar, reorder them, and add new ones on the fly. The editor supports basic text formatting and tracks word count per chapter. The Books library view shows all active manuscripts with chapter counts and draft status at a glance.

For screenwriting work, a structured workspace split into four tabs: Story, Characters, Scenes, and Script. The Characters tab lets the writer build detailed character profiles with roles (Protagonist, Supporting) and physical descriptions. The Scenes tab organizes sequences with proper screenplay formatting, showing location, time of day, and scene summaries.
